Capitalism basics are best understood by analyzing a family run
company with the CEO, Mr.Family Man.
At
the board level however key decisions are closely taken by the
‘family’. Only Mr.Family Man and his clan can make
purchase of a new plant, sale of a facility, foreign collaborations,
and expansions to other geographies. The presentation, of course,
is very democratic and the autocracy is well concealed. But behind
each decision, the desire to aggrandize personal wealth remains
and the kickbacks continue quietly and consistently.
Where there is a will, there are relatives!
